The PJ's Coffee Mobile & Baldwin County Franchise group is looking for an experienced store manager to join our team as we expand and grow in the market!
Compensation:
Incentive Based Bonus (Gross Profit Sharing)

Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Have knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least 3 years of FOH operations and/or other management positions.
-Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
-Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (5-8 hours generally)
-Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
-Must have the stamina to work 40-50 hours per week.
-Willing to train at a separate PJ's Coffee location for 1-2 weeks prior to managing own location.
-Must pass background & drug test
Certifications
-Serv Safe (Food Safety Manager) Certification is mandatory.
Will be required to complete the following upon hire.
- PJ’s Coffee Strategic Management Training
- The C.O.R.E. Management 101, 102, Advanced Management
Key Responsibilities:
o Understand completely all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
o Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
o Respond to & resolve customer complaints accordingly - Coordinate with Regional Manager of customer conflict resolutions.
o Ensure that all food and beverages are consistently prepared and served according to the store’s recipe and par level standards.
o Ensure that all drinks are made correctly and according to PJ’s Brand Standards.
o Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
o Ensure Management team is maintaining a positive and fun work environment.
o Ensure labor percentage standard (set by Regional Manager) is being met.
o Ensure sales goals (set by Regional Manager) are being met.
o Ensure the proper appearance & cleanliness of facility standards are being met.
o Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
o Ensure cash drawers are being properly opened, closed, and reconciled.
o Complete daily cash deposits & properly record by standard set forth by Regional Manager
o Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
o Ensure that all new employees are trained according to the company’s training guidelines - HIRING is NOT an expectation of this position.
o Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following PJ’s preventative maintenance programs.
o Oversee & coordinate all equipment repairs and maintenance
o Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the store, employees, and guests.
o Ensure the passing of regular Health Inspection by local health department and ensure health codes are being followed.
o Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner
o Complete employee scheduling.
Recruit, Hire, & train a high performing team.
o Coordinate inventory control and ordering.
o Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the store’s receiving policies and procedures.
o Conduct monthly inventory count. This will be conducted outside of business hours.
o Assist with carrying out store marketing, advertising, and promotional activities and campaigns as set forth by upper management.
